This Friday is the last ‘Spreading the Word’ post in 2020. Next time I write in this series – next Friday – it will be January 1st, it will be the first day of the fresh new year, 2021… I don’t know what the new year will bring. We all have our ideas. But, I think, we also have silent, perhaps secret hopes. And they might unite us more than we realise.

While we wait for this year to pass and for the new year to arrive, we stand at a crossroad, a metaphorical fork in the road. That is a good place to spend some time thinking, feeling, gathering strength and belief in our ability to choose the next path and walk it, whatever it might bring our way.
