In a recent conversation about the need for change in view of the multitude of global challenges we face in this, our lifetime, I was reminded of the quote I read in a wonderfully thought-stimulating novel by Matt Haig, The Humans. Indeed, are we not curious creatures? We fear change and crave it, avoid it and need it, admire others for taking that biggest of all steps – the first one – and call them mad. And sometimes, we think ourselves mad for changing something, and do the deed while thinking that.
So maybe it’s rather bravery ‘and’ madness instead of ‘or’. What do you think?
