This Friday I share with you a short video on the fascinating trait of our brain – neuroplasticity. What does it mean? In very simple terms – our brain remains flexible and constantly adapts and learns throughout our lives. I referred to this in my last article on the evolutionary science behind our belief forming capacity. The video I share here is a TEDx talk given just a couple of years ago by neuroscientist André Vermeulen. It is both informative, provides astonishing real-life examples, and inspires the realisation that we can shape and reshape our minds to a significantly bigger extent than we might have thought. That is why – our thoughts matter. Enjoy!

Keeping up the “Spreading the Word” tradition, every Friday, I hope to share with you an article I’ve read or a video I’ve seen and considered it to be inspiring or enlightening. I feel it is important to take good care not just of our physical but also of our mental well-being. Humans have always turned and returned to storytelling. My Fridays’ “Spreading the Word” articles are an online version of sharing worthwhile stories.
keep exploring and storytelling!
