Happiness is such a widespread, common, almost worn word that we hardly ever stop to think – what does it actually mean? We all feel that it is important to us, at least on some level. After all, it seems strange to imagine someone who actively pursues unhappiness. Yet, happiness is not a simple idea. Far from it. Where to start? Intuition? That is one part of the answer. But intuition about such complex ideas is often shaped by social and cultural norms, processes and values so deeply embedded in our societies that we don’t even notice them. It makes sense to look a little deeper then. To help us with that, the team from Wireless Philosophy has prepared a learning module dedicated to the topic of happiness: link here. There are 10 short videos, insightful and delivered in an easily understandable style. A nice project to explore and enjoy over the weekend.
Keeping up the “Spreading the Word” tradition, every weekend, I hope to share with you an article I’ve read or a video I’ve seen and considered to be inspiring and insightful. I feel it is important to take good care not just of our physical but also of our mental well-being. Humans have always turned and returned to storytelling. My weekends’ “Spreading the Word” articles are an online version of sharing worthwhile stories.
keep exploring and storytelling!
