Today, I share with you an article that explores something called the Anthropocene – a period in Earth’s history where humans have significant influence on nature. There is a growing interest both among scientists and the general public about the idea that we might have enetered into a new age, the name for which is suggested the Anthropocene (the age of human). Usually, it is considered that its potential beginning lies somewhere between the Industrial Revolution and mid-20th century. In other words, from Earth’s historical perspective – very recent. This new publication (October 1, 2020) suggests that humans have been exerting significant inlfuence on nature and environment for much, much longer. So perhaps we already live in the Anthropocene… for several thousands of years… Enjoy!
